4x5 camera

i had my first go on a large format camera today. the first image is the paper negative that we made and the second one is just a quick invert on photoshop. well keen for more goes on it proper enjoyed it.

constructed landscape

these are four examples of some work i'm doing for a new project at uni. i'm doing a constructed landscape. the image is made up of a back projected negative with cardboard cut outs based on my own photographs in front to create the silhouette's of the crane and the figures, and a red light source moved about to add some colour. cheers to louie b for helping me with it.

Litfest 2011

Yo El Rey contributor Sarah Walker will be exhibiting her ice sculpture this week as part of Litfest at The Storey Gallery in Lancaster.
The annual Literature Festival runs throughout October at various galleries and other venues around Lancaster.
